SHOE5.0 | Partnership for Footwear Industry 5.0 Readiness
SHOE 5.0 is a European project funded by Erasmus+ that aims to implement the presuppositions of Industry 5.0 in the European Footwear Sector.
The SHOE 5.0 project main goal is to prepare the EU footwear sector with the necessary skills to embrace the challenge of the transition towards a sustainable, human-centric and resilient industry, transcending efficiency and productivity objectives in line with the European Skills Pact (launched on 16 December 2021). For this purpose the project proposes an ICT (Digital) multilevel tailor-made upskilling scheme and correspondent content wise tools.
The project consortium includes Edit Value (Portugal), CTCP - Centro Tecnológico do Calçado de Portugal (Portugal), CEC - European Footwear Confederation (Belgium), CTCR - Asociacion para la Promocion, Investigacion, Desarrollo e Innovacion Tecnologica de la Industria del Calzado y Conexas de la Rioja (Spain), Instituto Politecnico Calzaturiero Scarl (Italy), ByAr - Embracegadget Lda (Portugal) and TUIASI - Universitatea Tehnica Gheorghe Asachi Din Iasi (Romania).
